Function SummaryThis position reports to the Director, Learning and Development, and is responsible for Human Resources related programs and services. Duties include: • designing and delivering HR projects, programs and services (i.e. reward and recognition program, engagement survey, French Language Services program, salary surveys, etc. • updating HR InfoNet content • representing HR in committees and working groups • coordinating data collection, analysis and reporting Commits to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère.
Commits to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. Required Qualifications - 3 year community college diploma in Human Resources, Project Management or related field, or equivalent combination of experience, education, training and experience
- Working towards Certified Human Resources Professional CHRP and/or Certified Recruiter designation, preferred
- Minimum of five (5) year experience in Human Resources, preferably involving project management and employee reward and recognition
- Experience and knowledge in Human resources measurement, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Experience in design, development, implementation, management and delivery of programs, projects, events and presentations
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- Experience with a Human Resources Information System
- Knowledge of Hospital administration and structure
- Solid knowledge of project management principles and approaches
- Strong knowledge of reward and recognition programs and principles
- Knowledge of HR and organizational practices, principles and programs
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)
