Function SummaryReporting to the Manager, Payroll and Human Resources Information System, this position is responsible for the day to day operation of the payroll functions. The individual oversees all aspects related to the payroll process on a bi-weekly cycle and the monthly payments to government agencies, benefit carriers, unions and third parties. Commits to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère.
Commits to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. Required Qualifications - Two (2) year Community college diploma, in relevant field (such as Human Resources, Payroll), or Accreditation courses with the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), or equivalent of education, training and experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience in dealing with employees and managers
- Bilingual – both official languages – spoken and written (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)
- Advanced Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Quadrant HR, Perfectform, and Reporting Tools
