Function SummaryReporting to the Manager, Payroll & Human Resources Information Systems, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the payroll functions. This role oversees all aspects related to the payroll process on a bi-weekly cycle and the monthly payments to government agencies, benefit carriers, unions and third parties.

Required Qualifications
- Two (2) year community college diploma in a relevant field (such as Human Resources, Accounting or Payroll) or Accreditation courses with the National Payroll Institute (NPI), or equivalent of education, training and experience
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a payroll position
- Experience dealing with the public, employees and managers
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Intranet
- Fluent in French and English
