Accidents and injuries
Report all accidents or injuries that occur on our property to staff. If you have an accident while temporarily off our property, you should also report the it to staff when you return.
Video surveillance
Bruyère uses video surveillance. A security guard is on duty between 7 a.m. and midnight. In addition:
We suggest that you keep less than $20 in your room;
Never leave valuables unattended, especially in common areas;
If you see anyone acting suspiciously inside the building, notify staff immediately.
Hand washing
Hand washing is the most important means of preventing the spread of germs and infections. Alcohol-based hand rub dispensers are located throughout our buildings. Families are reminded to clean their hands before entering and upon leaving any patient room or public area.
