Youth Program

Volunteers 14 to 16 years of age participate in our volunteer program at Saint-Louis Residence after school, in the evening and during the summer. Saint-Louis Residence provides youth with the opportunity to:

• Collect 40 volunteer hours of community involvement
• Develop their skills including: leadership, teaching, mentoring, communication, social and organizational life
• Explore career options (nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, just to name a few!)
• Give back to their community
• Gain work experience to enhance their resume
• Discover their strengths and talents
• Build on their sense of independence

*Please note that references will be provided to all students who complete a minimum of 60 volunteer hours. The students work an average of three hours per week.
