Spiritual and religious care
Grief, loss and other forms of spiritual distress can accompany an admission to a long-term care home. Clinical staff, chaplains and a Roman Catholic priest are available to meet with you and your family to discuss your spiritual needs.
A schedule of chapel services is posted. Please let the clinical chaplain know if you’d like to request specific services such as the Sacrament of Anointing or Holy Communion.
Sacred space is made available to residents and families:
- Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Long-Term Care: Chapel on the second floor (E wing, Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Hospital); multi-faith prayer room on the fifth floor (J wing, Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Hospital).
- Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care: Chapel on 2A.
