How to use MEDITECH

MEDITECH is the software that Bruyère Continuing Care is using for the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR). These two modules are designed to teach physicians, residents and students how to use MEDITECH. Both of the modules have to be completed prior to being granted access to the MEDITECH system.

The modules use audio and therefore require a computer with speakers or plugin in headphones.

Important notices

We recommend using either Internet Explorer or Safari web browsers on a PC or Mac. These modules are not compatible with Firefox for the moment. Your progress will not be tracked; you must complete the module and send your certificate by email before exiting. Please be advised that these modules are only available in English.

MEDITECH EPR 1 - Introduction for physicians (30 minutes)
Resource version MEDITECH EPR 1: This version will allow you to access specific tutorials easily. Do not use this version if you haven’t yet completed the MEDITECH EPR 1. Your progress will not be tracked (not compatible with Firefox).
MEDITECH EPR 2 - Documentation for physicians (30 minutes)
Resource version MEDITECH EPR 2: This version will allow you to access specific tutorials easily. Do not use this version if you haven’t yet completed the MEDITECH EPR 2. Your progress will not be tracked (not compatible with Firefox).
MEDITECH EPR - Documentation Tips and Tricks (5 min. video): This version allows you to view and make changes at the same time in your LIVE account.
